The A14 Bionic chip still holds up well for daily use and most games, paired here with 6GB RAM and a 128GB base storage option (256GB and 512GB variants exist too). The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision, hitting up to 1200 nits at peak brightness, so HDR video looks properly sharp indoors or out.
On the back you get three 12MP lenses: a wide, a 2x telephoto, and an ultrawide, plus a LiDAR scanner for faster autofocus in low light and AR applications. Video maxes out at 4K60 with Dolby Vision HDR recording, which was ahead of most competitors at launch. Battery sits at 2815 mAh, modest on paper, but 20W wired charging gets you to 50% in half an hour, and there's 15W MagSafe wireless charging too.
