Apple built the 15 Pro Max around the A17 Pro chipset, paired here with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. That's enough grunt for the 120Hz LTPO display, which hits up to 2000 nits at peak brightness and covers HDR10 and Dolby Vision. The titanium frame keeps things lighter than the steel builds of older Pro models, and IP68 rating means dust and water aren't a concern.
The camera setup is where this one separates from the standard iPhone 15. You get a 48MP main sensor with sensor-shift OIS, a 12MP periscope telephoto giving 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide with a LiDAR scanner for depth work. Video maxes out at 4K60 with Dolby Vision HDR and ProRes support, plus Cinematic mode if you're shooting anything narrative.
