Under the hood is a Snapdragon 615 chipset with an octa-core Cortex-A53 setup, paired with either 2GB or 3GB RAM depending on the storage variant you pick (16GB or 32GB, both expandable via microSD up to 64GB). The 5.5-inch IPS LCD panel runs Full HD at 401 ppi, which was solid sharpness for its time.

On the camera side, there's a 13MP rear shooter with OIS and dual-LED flash, useful for steadier low-light shots, plus a 5MP front camera for basics. The 3000 mAh battery is non-removable but reasonably sized for a phone this slim at 7.5mm.

It also comes with a fingerprint sensor, NFC and dual SIM support, features that weren't always standard on budget phones back then. It ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop, with an upgrade path to Marshmallow planned.
