That swiveling 13MP camera is the whole pitch here. Instead of a separate front camera, the Oppo N1 lets you rotate the same 13MP sensor around to face yourself, complete with autofocus and LED flash, so selfies get the same quality as your regular shots. Features like touch focus, HDR and panorama round out the camera software.
Under the hood you get a Snapdragon 600 chipset with a quad-core 1.7GHz Krait 300 CPU and 2GB RAM, paired with either 16GB or 32GB of storage (no card slot, so choose wisely). The 5.9-inch IPS LCD display runs at full HD resolution, giving it a sharp ~373 ppi. Oppo N1 price in Malaysia starts from RM1198.
A 3610 mAh battery backs up all that screen, which was generous for its time. There's also NFC, a touch-sensitive panel on the back for gesture controls, and an O-Click Bluetooth remote in the box. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Oppo's Color OS layered on top.
